Move The Mind partner meeting
INTERNATIONAL AND SOCIAL ACTION DEPARTMENT
This week all the partners of the Move the Mind European project met to share and assess the progress of the project.
On the 16th and 17th of November, the meeting of all the collaborators of the Move the Mind project took place. This is a European project whose aim is to help workers better face day-to-day challenges through the positive impact of physical activity and sport to increase psychological well-being. The aim of the project is empowering and creating awareness among coaches of the role they play in contributing to the well-being of their athletes during training sessions.
Representatives of all the collaborating entities of the project have attended: the University of Hungary, Stichting Sport Drenthe that is an organization linked to sport in the Netherlands, the Unity in Duality which is an International Institute of Tarab, the International Council for Excellence in Training, Spin Sport Innovation and the UFEC itself.
Over the course of the two days, different issues were addressed: general project update, presentations by each collaborator on how the project is working in each entity and the feedback they received from the participants, planning the structure, the content and the format of new project lines, sharing possible improvements in the material and organization, planning and revision of future objectives and the organization of the final conference that is going to be held in Budapest in March. At the same time, interviews with the all the collaborators on different topics related to the project such as the definitions of mental wellbeing, challenges around mental well-being, sport benefits, positive communication and training and holistic training. The aim is to produce a video that gathers all these topics.
They have been two intense days of work, but they have allowed us to assess the operation of the project in order to be able to introduce improvements and make relevant changes to keep moving forward. Ideas, opinions, and experiences were shared and exchanged, which will surely enrich the result of the project.
