SOCIAL ACTION AN INTERNATIONAL DEPARTMENTS

Within the framework of the European projects CHANGE and HALT4Kids, of which the UFEC is a partner.

The Social Action and International Departments of the UFEC organized the workshop "Change processes in sports organizations", within the framework of the European projects CHANGE and HALT4Kids, of which the UFEC is a partner.

Representatives of different sports federations, clubs and entities of the third social sector participated in the workshop where they reflected on the challenges, barriers and the future facing sports organizations in Catalonia and on children safeguarding policies and measures that are being applied to the sports sector.

The workshop had a first part with presentations by Mr. Rafel Niubò, general secretary of UBAE-Eurofitness, and Mrs. Montserrat Martín, professor and researcher at the University of Vic, and a second practical part with the different participants to work and reflect, in a dynamic way, on the topics of the day.

The conclusions drawn during this workshop will serve as a theoretical basis for the next steps in the implementation of the European projects CHANGE and HALT4Kids

CHANGE aims to contribute to the promotion of integrity and values in sport by focusing on promoting and improving good governance in sport. HALT4Kids intends to prevent child harassment and abuse in sport using learning technologies for kids.
